Well I almost started my last round today but nope...not quite ready...
I'm at -0.8 LDW. I think I have to wait until the kids are in school as I can't seem to get my mind in the right frame with them around ALL the time! I feel more like a servant lately. Summer is definitely done!!!
On a different note, the chickens are huge now! I'm excited for them to start laying some eggs for us. If you have the space, I definitely recommend trying this for yourself. They are such a pleasure and very low maintenance. The kids really love them too :) They pick butter cups to feed them and are learning what I think are valuable lessons in life. One of our best ideas yet!
Cheers

This has been a hard summer so I'm super proud of myself for maintaining this well! I hope all of you are doing great too!

Well this is interesting...after I had done soo well on vacation I sort of had a couple taughty days with some beer and chocolate covered pretzels, lol! I was up about 1lb over LDW and decided to try a Mac Nut Day. I wasn't really concerned but wanted to see how it would go. I often recommend it to others but hadn't done one since R1 Maintenance. So I thought...why not!?! LOL
I ate ~2000 calories worth of macadamia nuts throughout the day with plenty of water and nothing else. Result: 2lbs gone! Yay!!!
I also downloaded a new app called 'Loseit' which is free :) It calculated my daily calories at 2084 (I was doing 1750-1800 before). To my surprise, my body loves the little extra!!! I ate full counts the last 2 days and I'm actually creeping down! Today I weighed in at -1.6 LDW! Super happy with the app and my results!
Cheers!

I did it!!!! Or rather, I did something right! LOL I'm guessing that the constant walking and lack of sleep helped me burn off the wrong foods. Either way, this morning's weigh in placed me at -1.8LDW! Yay!!!
I need a couple days to get my house back in order (laundry piled high) but I sure am glad to be sleeping in my own bed again. The hotel was great both for location and price. We stayed at the Burnaby Accent Inn which meant a short 15 minute drive to Stanley Park. I also brought the kids to White Rock and Science World. Okay, so I slipped a day in at Metrotown for myself too :) Great trip but not one I'll be repeating anytime soon without hubby!
Cheers!

Made it safe and sound! I packed an assortment of protein bars, shakes, nuts, and Zevia pop. Each are labelled with calorie counts so it's just a matter of eating right from the restaurants and I should be good.
Don't ask me how but I did forget my scale! Guess we'll see how good I did when I get home. I'm really only worried about the first 3 days as I'm visiting family. This means a lot of tempting foods will be placed well within reach if not right on my lap (aka hips!!). Today I had a bowl of fruit with a small scoop of oreo icecream. My aunt dished it up so I was pleasantly surprised it was just a little bit. Let's see what tomorrow brings!
Cheers!

Last day to get everything done for my trip! I managed to get the truck cleaned yesterday (gosh, my kids can be real pigs!!! LOL). Thankfully, I don't have to worry about leaving a few dirty dishes as hubby is staying home (poor guy has to work. Used up all his vacation time already)....so I made a list for him too. Hehehe  I won't hold it against him though if it doesn't all get done!
Tom is kicking my butt today but I'm still just in the safe zone at +1.8LDW. Crossing my fingers that tomorrow will be another clean eating day like today or better (think positive with me here)! Today I'm counting calories to make sure I'm on track.
As my kids say: One more sleep!!!!
Cheers!

I survived the weekend! Yay! Yah, I'm a bit up but still in the safe zone (barely!!!). I've closed shop so I can get all my packing done. Hubby is taking the truck into work tomorrow to make sure it is all good for the trip. It has been awhile since I've done a trip without him that I'm very nervous! I'll be fine! I know it....just used to having that team work aspect when it comes to busy centers like Vancouver. The kids are bouncing off the walls they are soo excited, lol. Now if it would just stop raining then I could finish cleaning out the truck! Wish me luck and I'll see you all mid-month! (I downloaded the app for my site so I might be able to do a post while on vacation but no promises!)
Cheers!
