R4P2D2 184.2 down 4lbs from yesterday :)) and I'm below my preload weight after only one day on vlcd this time!!! Woohoo! So that makes total loss for this round so far at -0.6lbs. Pretty happy right now!

Lunch was chicken cooked in water and Frank's Hot sauce on a bed of romaine lettuce. Supper will be a lean steak and asparagus steamed with fresh minced garlic. A bowl of strawberries for dessert with my melba toast should do me just fine. Water, water, water....then an evening snack of an apple and another melba

Cheers!

Okay...here's my update:
R4P2D1 LDW for R3 was 166.2, this mornings weigh-in after loading 3 days was 188.2 (ouch). Preload weight was 184.8lbs . I lost the whole round to emotional eating....we lost some pets (one cat, one fish who was our pride and joy of the tank, and one leopard gecko who went today :( They all lived full lives and were just old. I'll say it was an intense holiday. Time to regroup and move on...

I hate to look at my regain as a bad thing so I'm doing an experiment to make full use of my slip: I have read up on the 800 protocol. The theory is based on a single case study where she regained weight lost in a round and then re-lost the weight using an extra protein and added supplements each day. The case study shows a slightly higher loss on the second round and there is no indication if there were any mistakes made between either rounds. The individual is very active and in amazing shape. Here is my hypothesis: I will lose more this round due to the fact that I just regained the weight and will do so on the 500 calorie diet just like always. Take note that the 800 protocol actually has women on a diet of about 600-650 and men at about 750 calories a day. We already know the supplements to take, as the information is free at www.hcgdietcanda.com and we also know that people who are very active and work out should add another protein to their day. Don't waste money on books when information is freely being shared on the topic! I believe that the best approach to the hCG diet is the protocol laid out by Dr. Simeons who spent over 16 years perfecting it before he published his manuscript. I say, keep it simple and stick to the rules. We must make the changes in our life to keep the weight off (I'm obviously going to have to work on alternative methods to deal with stress...I have a plan and will keep at it until I get it right!). It may take longer than we like but everyday gives us a new opportunity to try again. Let's make 2012 the year it happens!!!

I can't wait for the morning weigh-in!!!

Cheers!
