Well there we have it, 30 pounds gone! Definitely time to step back
and take a break. I'll wait for my friend to call, but I think that tomorrow
will be our last day on the drops. I started to write up a food schedule for
Maintenance. Gee it is hard! If my end weight is 197 (figured this was a safe
guess with 197.6 this morning and 2 more weigh-ins to come) then I have to
consume 1997.64 calories to maintain. 2000 calories is actually lots of food
when you can't have carbs or sugar! Once I have fine tuned a few days menus, I
will post it with calorie counts and all. Hate how there is not much out there
without buying this book or that plan. So I'm figuring it out for myself and
then sharing it with everyone for FREE. <[:-P' ' " on copy rights!!! I figure
that if I can help some others stay on track then I have stayed true to myself.
My motto is that every action I choose must be of some benefit to everyone
involved with my choice. If that makes sense, lol.
So, Hooray to 30lbs
gone!!!

My daily average seems to be slipping downward. I know that my friend is seriously
thinking of going onto maintenance here any day for the same reason. I am
certain I will hit 30lbs loss tomorrow which will put me at 197.7. Not sure if
that is low enough to prevent a climb over 200 during next rounds load days.
Guess I should focus on maintaining first, lol. Speaking of which, I'm pretty
worried about this next part. I'm reading information that says I should eat
high protein for the first 3 days of maintenance (after the 3 days of vlcd w/o
drops). I read 'eat some chicken or steak every 3 hours to prevent protein
deficiency' I'm just not certain yet and will probably use the example menu that
Cara sent me with my drops and modify it based on calorie counts and my taste. I
am going to use an online BMR calculator and my plan is to start biking 1-3
times a week. I will do more detailed posts on here again just like I did going
onto the VLCD. We'll see how I do. Please feel free to give your critiques and
any creative advise on here!!! I definitely need some help on this
part!

Sorry, I am in One-derland now and it was a busy weekend with
Mother's Day and my parent's 40th Anniversary. I can't express how happy I am to
toss that 2 out the window!!! What a great feeling! I am never going to let
myself get over 200 pounds ever again!! To be sure I am pushing through awhile
longer so that I can get as closed to 190 as possible. That way I can not worry
when I go to do my load days next round :)
I totally need to regroup this
week. I have practically nothing to eat. Thankfully I have some whey powder for
my protein. I have been avoiding beef for the most part and I can see why. I
have had beef for lunch the last three days and today's loss was barely a 0.2.
Could just be a coincident but either way. Prefer to keep beef to 2, maybe 3
times a week.
I seem to be past my aversion to eating. Motivation really
fluctuates as the protocol gets boring and then a new milestone reached. The
emotional toll can add up fast. I am trying to make sure that I get some down
time from everyone and everything, even if it is just once a week. I'll take an
extra long bath or drive out to a lake and just walk. I pick up a book every
other day and read a stretch. Doing this log also helps me release some trapped
energies.
My Van broke down on the way home the other day. Thank goodness my
hubby was with me because I was really freaked. I guess the alternator went. It
was late at night and we had both kids with us. All of the sudden, on a huge
hill with no street lights, my power went almost completely out! I might as well
have had two little flash lights pointed at the road. All electrical failed and
we were no where. The closest place was the local jail, lol. I managed to make
it down the hill and into town. Once in town I had to lightly feather the gas
and the van would get just enough to keep moving. So, with my babies in the back
seats sleeping obliviously, I worked my way to a cousins house who had been at
the same place we just came from. Thankfully they were still up. We changed over
the kids seats and got a lift home. Phew! There was another huge hill that we
would definitely not have made it up. The van basically gave it's last sputter
in front of my cousin's. About a week ago I said I would like a newer vehicle
and Hubby told me to drive the van until it died. Well, it's dead. Today, hubby
buying me a newer Ford Escape :) It's the exact same color as our car!
LOL

R1P2D30(-26.9) down 0.4....gee
thanks TOM!! LOL

I can't believe I have done 30 days! If I lose another
0.9 of a pound I will be officially under 200lbs!!! WOOOOOOHOOO!!! So close! I
am looking forward to maintenance and cheese again, lol. Not sure exactly when I
will stop, but soon. If I can get down closer to 190 then I won't have to worry
about breaking 200 when I start my next round (load days). I know I should not
bother worrying about this but I really want to put that number in my past and
never revisit it....ever.

I'm finding that I don't care so much as to
what I eat now so long as it is in the right amounts. I frequently eat chicken
and cucumbers or lettuce for lunch and cabbage soup with shrimp or chicken for
supper. I have stopped baking my apples and rarely mix cinnamon with my
strawberries. Orange, apple, grapefruit, whatever...I just eat the food because
I am supposed to. The only thing I still enjoy are my teas. All this adds up to
a much needed break from this so come on last few pounds, get off of me!!!

That's my rant for the day....

So I know there are a few who are doing well with
extra virgin coconut oil as their cooking oil and body lotion but I used it on
day 27 and only lost 0.2 for that day...I have taken it off the menu and will
happily use it after I am done vlcd. These types of risks should only be done by
those who are strong enough do deal with a gain or poor loss. Not to mention the
lost time. I'm good, I have lost more then I thought I would already so I was
willing to take the risk. Now others can learn from me that it is best too just
"suck it up" and stick to the original protocol. Really it is just short term.

down 0.6 from yesterday. WooooHooo!!! Past the 25lbs loss marker!! YAH! So happy
:-D
Doing a happy dance! Now I can see a change in the mirror. Not because I
passed 25lbs so much as because my clothes look so much better on me now. Before
this protocol, I refused to buy the next size up. I was starting to burst out of
my clothes , lol. I already have three different sizes in my drawers. I'm almost
ready to move down from my 18s into my 16s. This is very encouraging!
