R2P2D9 (-10.4) another pound gone :))

Almost worth doing another happy dance for, lol.
So no problem with the bison meat. What a nice change. I used the costco earthpure organic tomato sauce with 500 grams bison. Some garlic and italian seasoning finished the dish. Delish! I counted it as a meat and a veggie. My math put the sauce at 24 calories which is about right for the higher cal veggies we do. Obviously wasn't a problem if I lost another pound! One thing I haven't done yet this round is grapefruit. No reason, really, just haven't bought any. I eat strawberries and oranges mostly, with the occasional apple. It's a shame the weather has sucked so bad the last couple of days. I was really hoping to start the kids summer break off with a trip to the lake. Now my boy has a cold. Guess it will be inside stuff for the week. I'm still planning on attending the Canada Day celebrations at Fort George Park, at least for a little bit. I'll just have to bring extra clothes and umbrellas :( Saturdays are hard because my hubby works. Thank goodness we agreed that 2 kids where enough for us! Not sure I could handle more. I tip my hat to all who do it!
Have a Great Canada Day!!

I also meant to say in there that I am grateful I will have my hubby with me tomorrow. It makes it more fun for
the kids when we can each take one and go where they want to go and less stress for us. So we can have some fun too :)  ♥

So I'm set to go to the Annual Salmon Valley Women's Festival. It runs August 12,
13, and 14 but if your camping they allow you to come on thursday and stay the
nite for free that nite. Camp sites are limited but the drive there from Prince
George is only 15 mins. If your in B.C. or Alberta and want to check this out
here is their site: www.svwfest.com I did a song the last 2 years and
have improved on it for this year. So come watch me make a fool of myself and
let down your own guard. We have a lot of fun and the workshops are amazing!!
This is a women's only event (18+). Let your man have some fun with his buds or
the kids for the weekend :) This is OUR time to release all our joys and
tensions from the past year. You can be sure that I will be talking about hCG!
LOL

Now...Happy Day!!!! I'm into the 180s!! Morning weigh-in was 189lbs!
HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!!! Next goal...184.9. That means only 4.1 pounds to go. LOL I
know, seems a little silly but when it can take a month or longer to lose 3-5
pounds normally, doing it in a week is fantastic! I'm looking forward to tryig
the bison meat I just got. I'm going to do a chili/meat sauce dish first. Then I
might try the taco seasoning that I've heard about...not sure which brand has no
sugar but I'll figure it out. Looking forward to doing lettuce wraps with this :)

R2P2D7 (-8.4) another 1.6 gone :)

Happy with my losses so far! I'm sitting right at 190lbs....almost into 180s. WooooHooo! LOL I don't want to hex myself so I won't make any predictions on tomorrow. Once I'm in the low 180s I will be at the same weight I
was when I got engaged. Then I have about 15-20lbs more to go until I get to my wedding day weight. Strange how I am looking at it based on my relationship, lol. It is just what came to mind this morning when I saw how close I am to the 180s.
I went shopping in my closet and found a pair of pants that fit. They look so much better than my now baggy pants from before I started all this. I still seem to be carrying a lot of my weight around my mid section. The other day I was looking for some comfy pants and hubby said "just wear mine" I thought, 'yah, right' He could see my thoughts and insisted I try them on. Sure enough, they fit me. He wears a 34 inch waist pant....I had to step back and really consider my body image. I really don't think I see myself properly right now! If I was a guest on that show "How to Look Good Naked", I'm certain I would fail the 'place yourself in the line of women' test. I didn't take measurements so I have no idea what I have lost. I base everything on my clothing. What I didn't consider was if I would know when my clothes didn't fit me anymore. I have always worried about my clothes getting too small....not too big!! Also think it is about time to go bra shopping...lol...think I'll just get a sports
bra to tide me over to the next level. That will help in M too, for exercising.

R2P2D6 (-6.8) down 1.6

Know what I love about hCG (besides the awesome weight loss!!)?... I
love how I am not tired and not strung out all at the same time. I truly feel
that this is how I am supposed to feel all the time. Well rested and energized
for the day. I know that my fat stores are already perfectly balanced by my
body, for my body. I really hope that I can get my diet right, after, so that I
can get the same results. I was close and did feel better on Maintenance than I
have in a very long time. Just not as good as I feel now that I'm back on the
drops. So, for next M, I'm going to try a variety of different oils and fats to
see which mimic my fat best (along with a healthy balanced diet, of course).
Funny how we call it 'bad' fats when they are actually quite good, just too much
is all.

R2P2D5 (-5.2) down 1.4

Fish fest tonight at my folks. I'm having 100 grams of cod. I'm going to
crush up some melba and use a bit of egg white to make a batter. Think I'll use
the PC seafood seasoning in there too. Squeeze of lemon to top it off! Yummo ;)
I have salad that I can use as a bed and an orange will round the meal out. I
like to use 1/4 of my orange to make a dressing. Couple drops of plain stevia
and some acv with a bit of oregano, or spice of choice...I never know exactly
what I'm going to do until I'm doing it. All my recipes seem to follow a 'throw
it together as seems right' approach. Since the meals are small, if I screw it
up, I can make a new meal or just choke it down and move on, LOL. So far, I've
only had one meal that I really didn't like and it was because I didn't like the
salad I bought. The lettuce mix was very bitter like eating dandelions' stems. I
think every kid learns fast to keep finger out of the mouth after picking these
flowers! LOL
Yesterday turned out to be too busy for me to get any shopping
done so I'm doing scrammbled egg for lunch. Speaking of which....it's time to go
make it! Have a great day everyone!

R2P2D4 (-3.8) down 2.2 from yesterday

Still comparable to last round! Only 4.6 to go for 1st goal.
I'm feeling great. No more headaches and hunger is starting to diminish to the
usual annoying cravings. I actually dreamt last night that I cheated, lol. I was
eating chocolate bars...note plural...bars. Hahaha I woke up feeling pretty
guilty until I came fully to my senses. Strange thing is, I'm not a chocolate
lover. I'd much rather eat a bag a of chips, lol. Shopping day, on my list:
fresh garlic, chicken and cucumbers. I practically lived on this last round and
made a point of not eating it during M. Hope I like it as much as before.

R2P2D3 (-1.6) down 3.6 from yesterday! Can I get a Woot Woot!! LOL I am officially at my LDW from last round so I can truly feel like I am losing now :)
So that said, a reminder...I am now 196.8. That puts me 6.8 away from the 180s. I'll turn my focus to this as my first goal. After the first week I will change my goals to reflect the slower losses. I like to do 5lbs goals that way I am always 'almost there' and can celebrate lots throughout the round.
Lunch today was a repeat of supper last nite mostly because I had to use up the shrimp. It also tasted really good! I added some seafood spice today and the dill really brought the dish to a new level. I used the PC brand. I was a bit short on veggies only weighing in at 75 grams but I'm not worried about it. I just ran out and didn't want to mix veggies. The most important thing to not short change ourselves on is the proteins. Our brains need the proteins to function properly and tell the body to release the fats. Not to mention that we are on the brink of protein deficiency during vlcd. Veggies are important too in that they enable the digestion of the much needed proteins. Still, I'm not going to worry since it is only one meal and not a normal occurrence for me. I would rather be a bit short than over, especially in week one when I have the best chance of losing lots. Supper will also be a repeat of steak salad with hot sauce. My steaks weigh in at 65-80 grams max a serving. If I didn't have them in
the fridge when I started the round, I wouldn't have even included it in my meals. I hate to waste. I even did zucchini on day 1 of vlcd because I knew it would go to waste. This is probably part of my problem. I was raised to clean my plate. I know this so I try to put less on my plate.
Headaches are gone, I just realized it now! lol Besides it being a dreary wet day outside, I feel pretty good today. My diet bud lost over 4lbs again and is on cloud 9 right now. I can't believe how well men do on this diet! No Fair! lol No really, I'm very okay with how much I lose on average. Thrilled to say the least.
Well, on a rainy day like today, I'm sure I could write all day....so I better stop and go get my laundry done.

R2P2D2 (+2)

Can't complain about a 2.6 loss! Great first loss day :) I had a steak salad with hot sauce for lunch today. I broke down and took some tylenol for a killer headache. I feel better now. The first few days where tiring last time too and so far everything is the same. Hope that means my good losses will also repeat themselves, lol. I'm so glad I recorded everything! Now I can compare straight across. Last time I lost 2lbs on this day :) So, I'm ahead! ...then again...last time I only gained 0.4 total from my load days....meh...I'll not get hung up on comparisons. Just fun. Not much to add today. I'm pouring a bath now to help relax my neck and help with the detox. Think I'll bring a book. Have a great day everyone!

R2P2D1 (+4.6)

So I gained 1.8 on my 1st load day and 2.8 on my 2nd. Sounds like a fair load gain to me. I only gained a little over a pound last time so to me this is an improvement :) My schedule for drops may change but it stands at this:
7:15 hcg (7:30 b12), 10:30, 1:30, 4:30, 7:30, and 10:30
I'll do lunch at noon with a veggie and meat then supper is veggie, meat, melba, and fruit. I save my last fruit and melba for an early evening snack making sure I don't eat within 3 hours of going to bed. I am increasing my
water to a minimum of 100 ounces (12.5 cups). Really I should be consuming that much all the time. I found it really hard to drink that much water on M as I was trying to get in so many calories. Next time I will have a lower BMR which should help with the water issue anyway, lol. I make a point of not eating before noon and eliminate coffee for the most part. Tea is my go to beverage on vlcd because of the diversity of flavours they offer me. Normally I don't bother with the allowed tablespoon of milk but this round may be different. I did a frozen coffee dessert last round that may be nice seeing as it is summer. I want to try some variations of this with the teas and stevias. I bought popsicle maker thingys (lol) and plan on making healthy frozen treats for not only me but the whole family. Sugar free popsicles! How great is that...and no food coloring, even better! The other one I thought of was getting an ice shaver and doing the same with tea and stevia :) I'll post how it goes.

R2P1D2 (+1.8)
Again, I will show my loss based on my preload weight. I have
to say, I regret letting myself go this last weekend because now I am just over
200lbs. Only 0.2 over but still over. I keep telling myself that I made that
choice and now it is time to let go. Move on. It will be back down before I know
it. I tried on my bridesmaid dress today with my cousin in her gorgeous gown and
another bridesmaid in her's :) We all looked great but I was swimming in mine,
lol! The lady at the shop couldn't stop laughing at me. She was giddy over my
success. I will book an appointment next week to secure a seamstress for the
week before the wedding. I just tried it on about a week and a half ago. I
haven't changed in weight save for gaining a few pounds but I guess my body is
still pulling in because the dress fit way different today. I can see that the
rolls on my back are almost gone! That was hard to type, lol. But it really does
look smoother. On the flip side (literally), now that I am on my second load
day, my stomach looks horrible! LOL No need to describe it now! Just blech.

So far I have eaten over 2500 calories with supper still to come. Honey
crullers, fries, cream, peanuts, oh my....think I might need to lay down for
awhile....
If I didn't have a time restriction on this round I would have
tried not loading and see what my body does. I'm curious, if I have already
stocked up my healthy fats with round one and healthy eating, do I even need to
load. I think there is something more to the load phase that shocks the system
and kick starts the weight loss though. So, just in case, I'm doing a proper
load.
